Rachel Elnaugh
Entrepreneur, Author and Business Mentor

Rachel Elnaugh is the entrepreneur who created the market leading experiences brand Red Letter Days at the age of 24 – which she grew from nothing, on a shoestring budget, into a £multi-million turnover household name.
This won her an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002 and she was shortlisted for the 2001 Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year Award along with Barbara Cassani, Jo Malone, Sly Bailey and Chey Garland.


Rachel’s appearance as a ‘Dragon’ on the first two series of BBCTV’s Dragons’ Den in 2005 secured her celebrity entrepreneur status, which has resulted in over 300 engagements as a speaker and celebrity guest in the Enterprise Sector over the past five years.


Rachel chose to use her experiences in business to help other entrepreneurs on their journey and wrote about her experiences in business in her 2007 book ‘Business Nightmares’. This has since becomethe handbook for business survival for many struggling entrepreneurs.


Rachel has also given evidence to Parliament on the development of an Enterprise Culture in the UK and has both participated in and spoken at the All-Party Parliamentary Committee for Small Business.  


Sha has also become a respected Business Mentor and won the IAB Champion for Entrepreneurship in the UK Award for 2008 and was runner up for the SFEDI Supporter of Enterprise Award for 2009.  Her 2012 video mentoring programme Business Alchemy is receiving rave reviews and is already her most successful mentoring product yet.

Rene Rechtman
CEO, Goviral and SVP, AOL

In his role at AOL, René is responsible for overseeing the expansion of the AOL Advertising.com Group outside of the US. The group includes Advertising.com, ADTECH, Pictela, goviral, and 5 Min and serves a combined content and advertising market at scale through video, brand advertising and ad serving.
René joined AOL Europe from branded video distribution company, goviral, which was acquired by AOL in January 2011.
With a passion for digital start-ups, Rechtman has been a key player in the European media & tech start-up environment since the late nineties. He is a seed investor in a number of companies including Adjug, Overwolf, Movellas.com, Gameanalytics, AppchiMedia, Gateway Japan and the co-founder of Adamma.
René has appeared in Wired 100’s most influential digital power brokers list in 2011 and 2012.

Julie Meyer
Julie Meyer, MBE, Founder and CEO, Ariadne Capital

Julie is the well known founder & CEO of Ariadne Capital, co-founder and Managing Partner of the Ariadne Capital Entrepreneurs (ACE) Fund, founder of Entrepreneur Country and co- founder of First Tuesday. Julie founded Ariadne Capital in 2000; Ariadne backs entrepreneurs in the digital health, mobile money, broadcast media and entertainment, and smart cities ecosystems. Ariadne pioneered the model of "Entrepreneurs Backing Entrepreneurs" as the new model of the financing of entrepreneurship, and Ariadne's investment framework is "Ecosystem Economics". Most recently Julie founded Entrepreneur Country, a community for leading and emerging entrepreneurs, investors, the media and corporate partners who service the start-up industry. She sits on the Boards of INSEAD, Medikidz, Vestergaard Frandsen. In 2011, she was asked to be on the Secretary of State's Entrepreneurs Panel and the Secretary of Health's Innovation Panel. In 2012, Julie was honoured to receive an honorary MBE, for her ‘services to entrepreneurship’.

Sarah Jane Thomson
Media and Tech Entrepreneur, CEO of Addictive Points

Sarah Jane is a driven media and tech entrepreneur. She has founded, floated, acquired and run a number of businesses; invested in businesses and is an advisor to a number of businesses. She sits on the board of two listed companies and is governor of Solefield School in Sevenoaks. She has won numerous awards including Media Boss of the year & Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, and has appeared in many ‘one to watch’ lists.
She is a very proud mum of three boys and lives in Sevenoaks.

Nathalie Nahai
Web Psychologist and Author

Nathalie Nahai is an award-winning speaker, Web Psychologist, and author of 'Webs of influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion'

With a background in psychology and digital strategy, she is one of the few leading voices in this field to have both academic and hands-on experience in engineering online persuasion.

Nathalie helps businesses to psychologically optimise for better engagement online, and lectures internationally on the subject of Web Psychology and Online Influence (audiences include Goldman Sachs and Southampton University).

She is also a member of #Ogilvychange, a new Behavioural Sciences Practice that utilises the latest thinking in cognitive psychology, social psychology and behavioural economics to create behavioural interventions in the real world.
